Is TradeGuard a broker?

No. We don't execute trades or hold funds. TradeGuard is a practice, journaling, and analytics tool that connects read-only to your broker or accepts CSV imports.

Do the practice charts use real market data?

Yes. Practice scenarios are pulled from real historical market data across stocks, futures, FX and crypto — paused at meaningful decision moments.

How does the discipline score work?

Every trade is evaluated against your active rule set. The score weighs rule adherence, R-multiples, and the P&L gap between rules-followed and rules-broken trades over time.

Can I import trades from my existing broker?

Most major brokers are supported via direct read-only imports, and anything else can be uploaded as CSV. Trades flow into the same dashboards.

What happens when I hit my daily loss cap?

If you turn on hard lock-out, the app blocks new trade entries and journaling until the next session. No popups to dismiss. That's the point.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. You can practice on real historical charts, journal manually, and use the core rules engine on the free tier. Paid plans unlock broker sync, advanced analytics, and unlimited practice sessions.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month or annual and can be cancelled from your account page. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I export my data?

Yes. All of your trades, notes, and screenshots can be exported as CSV/JSON at any time from your account page. Your data belongs to you.

How is my data secured?

Broker connections are read-only — TradeGuard can never place an order on your account. Credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit, and we use a managed cloud backend with row-level access controls so only you can see your trades.

Do you offer prop-firm support?

Yes. TradeGuard works with most major prop firms via the same read-only sync. Your daily-loss and max-drawdown rules can be set to mirror your firm's so the app blocks you before the firm does.

Is this financial advice?

No. TradeGuard is a practice, journaling, and analytics tool. Nothing inside the app is investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. See the Risk Disclosure for more.
